Name and Logo
I adore the Subway logo as it is so popular, both from the customers point of view and the graphic designers point of view. The green colour gives the customer and the company a fresh look. Both the green and the yellow creates a simple colour theme, not too bold, yet effective. I do feel that the shade of green looks quite murky, however the bright yellow makes it seem more eye catching. The slogan is simple, yet means so much. The position of the text is quirky meaning that the company catches the attention of the younger audience. The arrows create a sense of direction, meaning that they are always moving forward and making things better. The name itself is snappy and easy to remember, meaning the target audience will keep coming back as they are fresh in their mind.

Exterior
This image is taken from the Subway restaurant in Dunstable . It looks very mucky and uninviting, because of the small set up and dirty green. By brightening up the colour of green, creating more appeal to the target audience. I found that the exterior is the same style as most of the restaurants I have seen around.

Interior
The interior looks funky and a lot happier and cheerful than the exterior. The colours are interesting, but still sticks with the overall colour theme, meaning it is still easily recognisable. The menu is clearly shown across to the customers on a light up screen, meaning that even in the dark, the menu is still easily viewed. The layout is very simple, with the tables in the same row and the counter around the edge. I feel that this is good as it means that the customers know exactly where to queue to get served, where to pay and where to sit down, so it creates a flow. I would say though that they layout is too simple for my liking, the seating area is exactly the same, making it boring. It would be nice if there tables were different shapes, such as square and circles, as this would make it interesting. I don't like the pattens on the counter side, as it doesn't match the colour scheme and the patterns are not the same the whole length of the counter. This makes it so there is too much going on, making my eyes go funny.

Packaging
The packaging has become really successful, as it is a quick and easy way to package their food, especially as most customers take their food away. The large text on the paper is easy to recognise and makes it interesting to look at. The colour theme is the same, linking all the aspects of the company together.

Website
The colour theme runs though to the website design, linking the company together. The lime green negative space creates a fresh feeling. There is a lot of imagery and colour, making it interesting to look into. Each typeface is easy to understand as it is legible. The colours of the text against the different backgrounds are simple but effective, meaning they are interesting for the target audience.

Website Menu
The layout for the menu reminds me of Millie's Cookies website menu, as they have been subjected to groups. The text is legible, meaning that customers any age are able to understand the online menu. I love the layout, as it is simple, which is needed for online websites.

The images of the subs are equal sizes and look interesting. The text is equal point size and colour. There isn't too much going on, meaning it is easy to read and search through. However, the red text creates a feeling of danger, meaning I should stay away from this menu.
